An Electrical and Computer Engineer with an MBA in Telecommunications and an MSc in Cyber Security, she holds 10+ international certifications in cyber security. Her expertise spans Application & Cloud Security, Data Protection, Zero Trust, and DevSecOps, combining deep technical knowledge with strategic leadership.
At Accenture, she leads a specialized engineering team delivering complex cybersecurity projects for major public and private organizations. Previously, Matina received the Business Excellence Award from Nokia for developing audit-runner, a containerized tool for automated security hardening audits, and contributed to the IETF with the publication of RFC6137.
A passionate advocate for inclusion and knowledge sharing, she serves as a mentor at Women4Cyber, regularly speaks at conferences, and volunteers in cyber awareness programs for schools. She also sits on the Ethics Advisory Board of the TRiTON consortium, ensuring the ethical alignment of European cybersecurity initiatives.
